YveYANG is thrilled to participate in the Presents section of The Armory Show 2025 with a duo exhibition of new and recent works by Anastazie Anderson and Alissa Ritter. Bringing two distinct practices into dialogue, the presentation offers fresh perspectives within the fair’s dynamic program.
Anastazie Anderson (b. 1995, Prague, Czech Republic) is a Czech-British painter living and working in London. She completed a BA in Fine Art at Falmouth University before pursuing a Master’s program in Painting at the Royal College of Art, for which she was awarded the Bakala Foundation Scholarship. Recent exhibitions include Like a Beacon Against the Cold at LBF Contemporary in London and Imitation of Life at YveYANG Gallery in New York.
Alissa Ritter (b. 1995, Duisburg, Germany) lives and works in Düsseldorf, Germany. She earned her B.A. in Art and Anglophone Studies from the University of Duisburg-Essen in 2021 and is currently studying at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, where she joined the class of Prof. Peter Piller in 2023, following her studies with Prof. Yesim Akdeniz (2021– 2023). She was awarded with the Deutschlandstipendium (2021) and Palazzo Ricci SummerLab Residency (2025). Recent exhibitions include German Zeitgeist at Better Go South (Stuttgart, 2025), Formel & Gegengift at La Felce (Cologne, 2025), Sehnsucht (Longing) at Yve Yang (New York, 2025), See you! Pavlov! at Gene Gallery (Shanghai, 2025), and You were always on my mind at the Deutsches Fotoinstitut (Düsseldorf, 2025). Ritter is also a founding member of the artist collective WorkingTextiles, with whom she has collaborated with venues such as Museum Ludwig (Cologne, 2024), Temporary Gallery (Cologne, 2024), and Kunstraum Popescu (Düsseldorf, 2023).
