For West Bund Art & Design 2018, YveYANG presented a multi-artist exhibition featuring Chando Ao, Wang Ye, Bjørn Sparrman, Tim Enthoven, Ceel Mogami de Haas, Sam Ghantous, and David OReilly. The selection spanned installation, video, drawing, sculpture, embroidery, and animation, reflecting the gallery’s cross-disciplinary ethos. From Ao’s playful engineering experiments and Wang’s embroidered and video works, to Sparrman’s silicone Dressage sculptures, Enthoven’s immersive gouache drawings, de Haas’s material investigations, Ghantous’s server-based video installations, and OReilly’s cult animations, the booth highlighted diverse strategies for probing the intersections of technology, narrative, and material form.
